DESCRIPTION:Dear Legacy Parents: 

Please join us for a special celebration to honor those graduating seniors whose parents are alumni, faculty, and staff members. Over the years, this Commencement Weekend Event has become a special way to recognize family ties at Providence College. We call it the "Legacy Tradition." 

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to attend my graduating senior's Legacy Dinner. It was an awe-inspiring event, seeing proud "Legacy Families" whose graduates over the years have included brothers, sisters, parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents. 

The legacy tradition reflects a strong bond with Providence College. Shared experiences, values, and life lessons in the Dominican Tradition are a hallmark for Legacy graduates and their families. 

I hope that you will be able to take part in this year's Legacy Dinner on May 18, 2012 at 6:00 pm in '64 Hall on the campus of Providence College. We would be delighted to welcome you, your spouse/guest, and your 2012 graduate. 

Additional tickets for family members are available at $25.00 per person. Please be certain to notify us of any physical or dietary requirements for attendees.
