The Parents for Providence Association seeks to increase parent engagement with Providence College through volunteerism and encourages parents of both current and past students to become actively involved in College activities. Association members act as networkers, ambassadors and fundraisers, which all help advance the mission of the College.
As a PC parent, you are encouraged to:
Represent parents during Family Weekends and Move-In Weekend. Participate in regional college fairs and welcome new families and students to PC through at summer receptions. Join the event committee for A Night in Black and White
Volunteer in the Career Services network to offer current students advice and expertise in your chosen field. Encourage your company to provide internships and employment opportunities. Attend annual networking receptions.
Invite current parents to your home to mix and mingle at a cultivation event. Participate in the Summer Receptions – to welcome all new students and their families into the PC community.
The Parents for Providence Association is committed to increasing support to the College through its Parents Fund. PC relies on the additional generosity of the parent community to maintain initiatives that directly and immediately enhance student life.
