Share in FUSION (Friars United for Service in Our Neighborhoods)

The Capital Area Providence College Alumni Club invites you to participate in our FUSION event with "HANDS on DC," an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that organizes projects to improve the physical condition of Washington, D.C. public schools.  The spring work-a-thon is the organization’s largest event, which engages over 2,000 volunteers to help improve over 30 DC public schools.

The PC Capital Area Club participated last year - it was both a wonderful service opportunity and a lot of fun! We painted, mulched gardens, planted flowers, and built new flower boxes at a DC school, creating a welcoming environment. This year, we will again work on similar projects at a local DC school in Anacostia. The local community is always appreciative of our efforts to make their neighborhood school a better place.
The Club strives to support the spiritual mission of Providence College by reaching out to our neighbors through the FUSION (Friars United for Service in Our Neighborhood) initiative.  Consider helping us as we work together to help those in need.

Important note: Please remember to type "Providence" after your last name in the name field when you register, so we can identify all of our alumni and be assigned together.
