Held on April 9 at the expansive, 33rd-floor State Room overlooking Boston Harbor, A Night in Black and White attracted 750 alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, corporate partners, and friends to celebrate PC. Ratzenberger Named Commencement Speaker
John Ratzenberger, the former Cheers star and a leading voice in all Pixar films, will present the Commencement Exercises on May 15. He is one of five distinguished individuals, including William J. Christie '61, David A. Duffy '61, John J. Partridge, Esq. '61, and Dr. Stephen B. Fawcett '69, who have been chosen to receive honorary degrees from the College. Read more.

Dr. Mark S. Hyde, professor of political science, has been chosen as the recipient of the 2010-11 Joseph R. Accinno Faculty Teaching Award at Providence College--the premier teaching accolade at PC. Read more.
