Join us for PC's Legacy Admission Information Day
"Since I was a kid, I always knew I wanted to go to PC,” said Kelly Camuso '13. “The stories my family would tell me about PC were great, but the Legacy Admission Information Day made me realize that PC was no doubt, my school. I left that day knowing that the best four years of my life would be spent here at Providence."
All alumni with children who are prospective Friars are invited to participate in the Legacy Admission Information Day planned just for Legacy families as part of Providence College’s Legacy Program on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This program recognizes alumni for making a PC education part of their family tradition. The program helps legacy families, who are very important members of the Friar family, stay in touch with the College and with each other through special programs, events, and networking opportunities.
Prospective students will learn about the Office of Admission's process and what it’s like to be a PC student today. There will be presentations from the Office of Admission, Financial Aid, and Student Alumni Association, and an option to take a tour of campus. At the conclusion of the presentations, families are invited to enjoy a complimentary lunch in either Raymond or Slavin Cafeteria.
“What was most inspiring to me that day and really made me realize I was meant to go to PC, was hearing from current PC legacy students about how much they loved it here,” said Camuso. “The students reminded me of myself and I saw how excited and enthusiastic they were about being legacy students at PC, which made me and my family very happy.”
“During the day, my parents would run into their fellow classmates who were also attending the Legacy Admission Day with their prospective Friars,” she remembered. “Seeing them reunite in a place that is so dear to their heart and hearing them reminisce about their times at Providence was just another reminder that PC was the school for me.”
Alumni with sophomores or juniors in high school are highly encouraged to attend. Visit the Legacy Admission Information Day event page
