Share in the 6th Annual FUSION Experience!
The Providence College President's Council and the Greater Providence Area (Mal
Brown) Alumni Club invite you to participate in the 2011
Providence FUSION project. FUSION volunteers will collaborate with the
College and the City of Providence to construct and assemble a safe playground space at Corliss Park. Father Shanley, Providence
Mayor Taveras, and a Providence City Council delegation are
scheduled to join us along with upper-class student volunteers for the
day.
Providence College, the President’s Council and the City Parks
Department are mid-way through a 10-year partnership to transform the parks in our home city. Alumni will be paired with student
volunteers during the day of service. The scope of work will include
assembling a large playground structure, constructing a swing set, and general landscaping.
