Brooks '11 Selected In NBA Draft
Former Providence College guard Marshon Brooks was selected in the first round (25th overall) of the 2011 NBA Draft by the New Jersey Nets on Thursday, June 23. He was then traded from the Celtics to the New Jersey Nets for the Nets first round pick at No. 27. The last Friar selected in the first round of the NBA Draft was Austin Croshere who was selected 12th Overall by the Indiana Pacers in 1997. Read more .

Scambio '10 Thrives in NBC Page Program
Jaimie L. Scambio '10, who served as class president each of her four years at PC, is participating in the prestigious Page Program at NBCUniversal in New York City. With approximately 7,000 applicants each year, only between 40 and 60 are chosen as pages. Read more .
