FUSION — Friars United for Service In Our Neighborhood — was developed by the College’s Providence President’s Council and was launched in 2007 as part of a multi-year agreement with the City of Providence Parks Department. Volunteers, including President’s Council members, students, alumni,
faculty, and staff members, have joined parks department and other
community representatives annually on a Saturday in April to improve the
physical condition of a community site.
Over the years, FUSION has expanded regionally, with alumni volunteering all over the east coast. This year, area volunteers will join members of the New York City,
Atlanta, Providence, Greater Boston area, New London/Washington County,
and South Coast, MA alumni clubs in a service project. PC values your
involvement. Please join us as we work together to make a difference in
the lives of others.
