NATIONAL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AWARDS

Enjoy a virtual ceremony honoring the 2020 and 2021 National Alumni Association Awards recipients or watch individual interviews with the winners.

NAA Award

Dear Members of the Friar Community,

Please join me in celebration as we recognize our 2020 and 2021 National Alumni Association Award recipients. These honored members of our Providence College family truly live the college’s mission and are committed to truth, growth in virtue, and service of God and neighbor.

This past year was a year like none other. Traditionally, we have recognized our deserving alumni award winners at an annual campus event where we could join in celebration and bestow the awards in person. This year, we were challenged to think creatively and distribute the awards individually, in a way that would still honor significance of this achievement.

Additionally, we wanted to share more about our honorees with the entire Friar family. Below, you can watch a virtual awards ceremony with an introduction by Father Sicard and former NAA President Kate (Hennedy) Kennedy ’92 as well as interviews of award recipients by members of our National Alumni Association Council. You will see that there are many interesting stories that play a role in the various journeys of our alumni. While each story is personal and unique, there is a common thread: a genuine love and gratitude for Providence College.

Congratulations to these very deserving Friar alumni.

In friendship,
Bob Ferreira ’83
Assistant Vice President, Special Projects and Strategic Initiatives
