Providence College Reunion September 2021: Frequently Asked Questions
As COVID-19 guidelines continue to evolve in the State of Rhode Island and nationally, we ask for your patience and flexibility, as scheduled activities may change as we near closer to the event date.
What are the dates of Reunion 2021?
September 17-19: Golden Friar reunion alumni (those who graduated in 1971 or before) are invited to an on-campus celebration this fall.
October 1-3 (Homecoming Weekend): The Classes of 1975 and 1976 will be invited to participate in class-specific events during Homecoming Weekend in conjunction with Then Now Next: 50 Years of Women at PC.
Where should I stay for Golden Friar Reunion, Sept. 17-19?
The College has coordinated hotel blocks and accommodations for the September weekend. Please visit the reunion hotels page for more information. Due to COVID restrictions, we will not be offering on-campus housing for Reunion 2021.
What is expected from guests regarding COVID guidelines and requirements?
For the protection of the entire Friar family, we are requesting that all guests be fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID test within 48 hours of arriving on campus. We ask that all guests be respectful of personal space and the comfort level of the other guests you are interacting with. If you are not feeling well, please stay home.
Why don’t we just hold a virtual celebration?
We conducted surveys and collected information from our reunion committees that reinforced just how special a Providence College in-person reunion is. We are committed to hosting an in-person gathering.
Are the National Alumni Awards still a part of Reunion 2021?
Recipients of the National Alumni Association Awards have been announced. The honorees will be recognized during Golden Friars Reunion and during Homecoming, as well as through a virtual program.
Can I still make a gift in honor of my reunion?
