Class of ’71 Golden Friar Mass

Join us for a special Mass where members of the Class of 1971 will receive their official, blessed Golden Friar pin. Mass will be celebrated by College President Rev. Kenneth R. Sicard, O.P. ’78, ’82G with concelebrants from the Dominican community. An official class photo will be taken following Mass.

Class of ’60 Reunion Dinner at Twin Oaks

Start your 60th Reunion with cocktails and dinner at historic Twin Oaks in Cranston. Transportation will be provided from the Marriott downtown to Twin Oaks at 6 p.m. Please note individuals will need to pay for the cost of transportation as well as cocktails and dinner. The restaurant will not provide separate checks and the bill will be divided evenly amongst the guests. You are encouraged to bring cash.

Class of ’70 Welcome Cookout

Enjoy a fun and relaxing cookout to kick off your long-awaited reunion. Campus tours will be available departing from the cookout area. At 6:30 p.m. guests are invited inside for a special presentation by classmate Mike Leonard ’70, ’00Hon. 

1971 50th Anniversary Dinner

Join us for dinner under a beautiful tent as we officially welcome your class to the Golden Friar ranks. The program will also include recognition of the recipients of the National Alumni Association awards as well as your classmates who are with us in spirit.

Class of ’60 Golf Cart Tours

See how campus has changed with a 90-minute golf cart tour that will depart from the Arthur F. and Patricia Ryan Center for Business Studies (formerly Dore Hall) at 10:30 a.m. The tour will start with an in depth look at the Center for Business Studies. Parking is available adjacent to the building via the Huxley Avenue entrance to campus.

Registration is not required for the tour.

Class of ’70 Exclusive Boat Cruise

Join us for a two-hour cruise on Rhode Island’s Narragansett Bay. You’ll journey through the southern end of the largest estuary in New England, explore Newport Harbor, visit several of Rhode Island’s most scenic lighthouses, and see many magnificent oceanfront homes. Offering a warm and weatherproof main salon and an open-air upper deck for catching fresh ocean breezes, you will enjoy panoramic views throughout this relaxing and pleasurable trip.

Reflect and remember the lives of our deceased Dominican fathers in a special ceremony initiated by the Class of 1961 during their last reunion celebration. We will pay special tribute to Rev. Robert Alan Morris, O.P. ’46, ’82Hon., as well as recently deceased members of the Dominican community: Rev. Edward R. Daley, O.P. ’46, ’81Hon.Rev. Richard Ambrose McAlister, O.P. ’58; and Very Rev. Walter Urban Voll, O.P., S.T.M. ’45, ’97Hon.
