Your Gift in Action
The Parents Fund, which is part of the Annual Fund, is one of the College’s top priorities. Since 1968, the Parents Fund has served as a vital resource to respond to the existing and emerging needs of students. It is another way parents can be a part of the PC community and help enhance the undergraduate experience. Parents Fund Gifts are put to immediate use and directed to the areas where they are most urgently needed, such as: student-faculty research; 100+ student organizations; internship opportunities and career services; state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor classroom spaces; and the College’s strong NCAA DI athletic program.

Parents Leadership Council
Parents Leadership Council (PLC) members serve as ambassadors and fundraisers for Providence College. Council members are philanthropic leaders of the College and are vital in engaging the parent community. In addition to leading the efforts of the Parents Fund, members may volunteer their time to support other priorities of the College. Volunteer opportunities may include peer-to-peer solicitation, hosting new student receptions, regional events, or reaching out to incoming families to welcome them to the PC community.
If you are interested in learning more or becoming a member of the Council, please inquire at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A Message from the Co-Chairs
As the proud parents of a daughter in the class of 2018, and another who is a graduate of the class of 2016, we would like to share with you what makes Providence College so special to us and to our family.
PC is a place where students can explore history and the arts while deepening their faith and serving others. It’s a place where they learn to become independent and confident, knowledgeable about the world around them, and prepared to contribute in meaningful ways.
Part of what makes PC so unique is the people who make up its close-knit campus community—from the ever-present Dominican Friars to the friendly, helpful staff to the renowned faculty. It is most evident, however, in the students, who are courteous, respectful, and kind. Both of our daughters have flourished within this community.
Just as there are many ways students can immerse themselves in life on campus, parents are encouraged to be involved at PC as well. Joining the Parents Leadership Council has allowed us to meet fellow parents, to be more connected to the PC community, and to have an impact on our children’s second home.
We eagerly look forward to an exciting academic year for all of our bright young Friars, and another successful year for PC as it continues its all-important mission. We hope that your son or daughter has a successful year and that he or she takes full advantage of all that Providence College has to offer.
