As part of #PCReunion2023, we welcomed PC alumni of all class years back to campus for our second annual Friars of Color Family Reunion. This year’s celebration featured two events, including an evening social on Saturday and an interfaith spiritual reflection on Sunday.

Saturday, June 10

Reunion Festival
Noon – 4 p.m.
Slavin Lawn

All Reunion alumni are invited to an outdoor celebration on Slavin lawn, featuring local food trucks, games, family-friendly activities, live music featuring two of our alums celebrating Reunion, Steve Smith ’73 and the Nakeds & Adam Hanna ’18, and more!

Friars of Color Family Reunion
8 p.m.
Raymond Hall Lawn

Whether you came to PC years ago as an MLK scholar, were a student when the Balfour Center was established, or attended during the transition to the Center at Moore Hall, you have a shared experience with our Friars of color community and we invite you to come home. Join us for a family reunion-style gathering on campus, bringing together alumni of color from all class years. Celebrate and reconnect with friends as you dance the night away, have a drink with other Friars, and enjoy one of our local food trucks.

There is no cost to attend this event. Cash bar and food trucks will be available.

Sunday, June 11

Sunday Reunion Mass
11 a.m.
St. Dominic Chapel

Gather with the greater PC alumni community for the celebration of Mass in St. Dominic Chapel. The Class of 1973 will be recognized as the newest Golden Friars as they receive their blessed pins.

Friars of Color Spiritual Reflection & Fireside Chat
Boulingy Lounge and Moore Hall Patio

To close out this family reunion, come together for an interfaith spiritual reflection to share PC experiences in an intimate and safe setting. Breakfast refreshments will be available.

Reunion Farewell Brunch
Noon – 2 p.m.
Aquinas Lawn

Cap off an incredible weekend with mimosas and a classic PC brunch before heading home, celebrating all that comes with being “Forever a Friar.”

*On campus housing will also be made available to those attending the Friars of Color events.
